We couldn’t do what we do without the amazing people who give up their time to help us run the service.

Use your personal talents to help our staff team and community. We’re always on the lookout for talented people who are passionate about dedicating their time and support to a charitable cause. If you want to personally make a difference in the lives of others in the Farnborough area, there’s no better way than getting involved with Mustard Seed Autism Trust.

We have a team of volunteer family support workers, sibling support group workers, admin and fundraising volunteers.

Following a well-developed recruitment and screening process, including DBS checks, all new volunteers working with families complete our comprehensive in-house training programme.  They then move on to shadowing and supporting sessions with children.  Experienced family support workers may work directly with families; planning and preparing elements of the interventions, alongside team leaders.  Regular supervision is provided by team leaders for all volunteers working with children, as well as ongoing in-house training, at least once a term.
