UPDATED MARCH 2019: From March 2019 Mustard Seed Autism Trust will be able to take new referrals. Last year we had almost 100 families on our list, waiting 18 months for support. We took the difficult decision to stop taking new referrals whilst we concentrated on working with the current families waiting.
We still have 30 families waiting so new referrals will not be seen immediately but will be added to the waiting list in order of referral. However, there will be spaces on our 6 week Empowering Parents Course which will run in the summer term.
Our referral criteria remains the same:
diagnosis of autism
living within 10 miles of Farnborough
To make a referral please email us at: firstname.lastname@example.org
SEPTEMBER 2018: We remain unable to take new referrals at the moment. We hope to be able to re-open the waiting list in 6 months time and are regularly reviewing the situation. Thank you for your patience.
MARCH 2018: Due to an increasingly large number of referrals, we have made the difficult decision to close our waiting list today. At the moment families on the list are waiting well over a year to access our service. We are working hard to try and secure funding to be able to continue our service and also to be able to employ an additional member of staff as we are at maximum capacity with only two full time staff and a small group of volunteers.
We would like to reassure those who are already on the waiting list that they will be seen and that this just refers to new referrals from today.
As soon as the waiting list is at a manageable number we will open it up again and take new referrals.
Any support is gratefully received.
